What to expect

Carraig Lodge rental accommodation is double glazed throughout and has oil fired central heating, leaving it cosy no matter what the season or the weather outside. It has the advantage of having all the accommodation on ground floor level and the property may be accessed directly from the driveway via one low step.

This bright, self-catering accommodation consists of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen/dining area, which overlooks the rear garden and has access to the utility room and integral garage. There is a dining table with seating for 6 guests (and a high chair is available if required).

The living room is luxuriously furnished with your comfort in mind and features an electric stove heater for those chillier evenings. It is equipped with WiFi, digital TV, DVD player, Micro Hi Fi System (with provision for your iPod or MP3 player). A selection of CDs, DVDs, books and board games is available for guest use.

There are three bedrooms in this rental accommodation (1 twin, 1 double and 1 double en suite) sleeping 6, all fully furnished with more than adequate storage and hanging space. A travel cot and bedding can be made available for use on request. The main bathroom has a bath, WC, wash basin and electric shower. Shaver points are provided in both the en suite and the main bathroom.

At the rear of the holiday home rental, there is an extensive, fully enclosed patio area with a built in BBQ. If you prefer, a gas BBQ is also available. Patio furniture allows our guests to dine al fresco and, should you need it, outdoor lighting is provided. We have not forgotten the younger generation. There is a table and chairs for their use too!

Sun loungers are available for sun worshippers who choose to enjoy any good weather in the private patio behind the rental accommodation rather than head for the sandy Castlerock beach.

If you choose to make use of the laundry facilities, you will find that you have the option to line-dry in the garage or on the wall mounted airers in the garden, in addition to using the tumble dryer.

There is generous off road parking provision and a garage at the rental accommodation but if you want to leave the car behind, you can catch a bus or could take the train from the railway station in Castlerock village and enjoy the scenic rail journey along the coast towards the city of Derry or head to Belfast for the day (1hour 30 minutes journey time).
